About the role
Nouryon Polymer Specialties is the world’s leading producer of organic peroxides, metal alkyls, and organometallic specialties—essential components for the polymer industry. As sustainability becomes increasingly vital, we are dedicated to discovering innovative ways to create a greener future. Our efforts include developing sustainable solutions for our products and their applications in polymer manufacturing.
As a Research Manager, you will lead a team of 6-10 researchers responsible for supporting the core business as well as driving new developments, exploring new products and processes which are used as catalyst systems for the production of polyolefins.
Your responsibilities as Research Manager will include

·At least 5 years of industrial experience in relevant area; additional experience in polymer chemistry/catalysis is a strong advantage.
·A PhD in Organometallic or Organic Chemistry

Good to know
This is a permanent position on a full-time basis, based in Deventer, The Netherlands, with a travel component of under 10% to the US and China. In this role you report to the VP R&D Polymer Specialties.
