Account Manager
Deventer, Netherlands – Full-time
Are you a commercial talent with a passion for product safety and the import sector? We are looking for an Account Manager who thrives on building relationships and driving new business. In this role, you will be the trusted partner for companies importing food and non-food products, advising them on compliance, safety, and quality while offering tailored consultancy solutions.
What you’ll do
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with key clients in the import sector
- Drive new business opportunities and grow our consultancy services
- Advise clients on product safety, regulations, and process improvements
- Develop account plans, proposals, and strategic market insights
- Take ownership of your client portfolio, including revenue and margin goals
What you bring
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (commercial or technical preferred)
- 5+ years’ commercial experience in import, retail, or B2B consultancy
- Strong track record in both business development and relationship management
- Affinity with food/product safety and import-related challenges
- Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English
- Proactive, independent, and results-driven mindset

- Salary between €3,925 – €5,608 gross/month (based on 40 hours)
