Wittur is looking for an Area Sales Manager to join & reinforce the sales team of our German trading company, based in Wiedenzhausen (Germany). She / he will be responsible for Wittur’s existing customers and prospects in the Netherlands.

Job mission and objectives

She / he will be responsible for selling Wittur’s products and services by identifying leads, educating prospects on products through meetings, calls, trainings, and presentations, and providing existing customers with exceptional support.

Main tasks of the role will include:

  • Develop strong, ongoing relationships with prospects and customers
  • Technical and commercial analysis of customers’ requests
  • Be knowledgeable about Wittur’s products
  • Prospect and qualify new sales leads
  • Schedule meetings and presentations with prospects and customers
  • Create, plan, and deliver presentations on company products and services
  • Track all sales activities
  • Communicate customer and prospect product pain points to appropriate internal departments
  • Maintain a well-developed pipeline of prospects
  • Coordinate with other team members and departments to optimize the sales effort

Experience & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a comparable technical background
  • 5+ years of sales experience
  • Knowledge of the elevator industry is a strong advantage
  • Proven ability to meet and exceed sales quotas
  • Proven track record of successfully managing customer relationships
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Highly self-motivated
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Working knowledge of CRM systems
  • Fluent in Dutch and English (German nice-to-have).

Location

The role is home-based everywhere in the Netherlands and requires frequent travel in the assigned area.
