Job Description:
In this role as a leading first mechanic in mechanical engineering (WTB), you will perform work both independently and guide other mechanics on site in executing WTB and installation tasks. Your technical knowledge, practical experience within installation, and drive make you a leading mechanic.
This position is with a prominent installation company involved in both installation and service and maintenance projects, primarily in the utility and industry sectors. Many projects and tasks involve building-related installations for heating, cooling, ventilation, and air treatment. Much of the work focuses on maintaining operational installations and sustainability. In addition to your own execution work, you will supervise and monitor the progress and quality of work delivered by the mechanics, ensuring compliance with drawings and agreements. If anything needs to be arranged, you will communicate clearly and directly with those involved.
In this position, you may also have the opportunity to further your education and advance to project coordinator in installation technology / WTB, with training and practical guidance provided.
Responsibilities:
- Perform installation and maintenance tasks in mechanical engineering.
- Guide and supervise other mechanics on site.
- Ensure compliance with technical drawings and agreements.
- Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Experience as a first mechanic in installation technology WTB.
- Experience or affinity with leading mechanics.
- MBO 4 education in installation technology or mechanical engineering.
- VCA (VOL) certification.
- Knowledge of F-Gases, PLC control, or other ‘extras’ is a plus.
- Ability to translate drawings into execution.
- Strong communication skills.
